Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, USA
MDS Aero Support Corporation is an engineering-based organization whose primary focus is the supply of test facilities and test systems for aviation, industrial, and marine gas turbine engines. Certified to both ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, MDS has supplied turnkey engine test facilities, test support equipment, data acquisition systems, and engineering services to a variety of industries and organizations around the globe since 1985.
MDS Aero Support Corporation, a world leader in the design and construction of gas turbine engine test equipment and facilities, has a requirement for a Regional Sales and Marketing Manager to be based in the United States.
General Responsibilities
- Continually survey market to uncover related projects and clients.
- Market MDS products and services capabilities to new and existing customers.
- Preparation and upkeep of client database and communication.
- Support customer in developing their technical and project budget requirements.
- Participate in development of corporate marketing strategy and material.
- International travel to meet with existing and potential clients.
- Participate in industry trade shows and other marketing events.
- Host and entertain clients during visits.
- Prepare regular marketing reports for communication to other staff members.
- Participate in the strategy and concept development for technical solutions to customer requirements.
- Support proposal preparation process.
- Product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Contribute to new product and/or existing product improvement strategies based market/customer feedback.
Essential Qualifications
- Travel ready: Must possess a valid passport and have no travel restrictions.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive attitude: Driven to cultivate new customers and grow relationships with existing customers from working to senior management levels.
- Technical background: Capability to analyze and comprehend technical requirements as they pertain to the testing of gas turbine engines and to recommend solutions.
- Business sense: Ingenuity in recognizing opportunities, developing strategies for success, and conceiving cost effective solutions to client requirements.
Other Beneficial Qualifications
- Experience in dealing with foreign cultures and clients an asset.
- Ability to speak several languages an asset.
- Working knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems an asset.
